Lots of pictures from the ground and in the air...here are what appear on first glance to be the best ones.

The Hanoi Taxi, first plane to fly U.S. POWs from North Vietnam in 1973. Note pyrotechnics in the background.

At the controls of the Hanoi Taxi.

A B-17 flying directly overhead.

"Bombing Run" by the B-17. Even at that distance I could feel the heat flash from the explosions.

Parachuters opening the show (after the Warbirds special show).

Wingwalker on the world's only jet-powered (jet-assisted, really) biplane.

A U.S. Marine Harrier II doing what planes don't - hover.

Pyrotechnics during the "Masters of Disaster" segment.

Masters of Disaster...I don't think they meant to be quite that close...

Cool! I'm glad you were able to go, it was too nice of a day to spend inside moping or working on crappy work related projects.

Thank you, ma'am. :) It most certainly beat a day of moping and crappy work-related projects (which I face 11 hours and 51 minutes from now...)

Grr, tech support hell week seems to roll around too frequnetly.

Starting around the 3rd week of August, that's going to be my new job for a while, essentially, the hospice hell desk, aka "phone triage nurse."

It's really quite amazing that it seems to come up so often when you consider that according to the calendar, it's every eight weeks. Of course, I'm really on call 24x7x365, but the difference is whose cell phone is fielding the emergency line on any given week.

Phone triage nurse doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but at least you'll be able to maintain income and not burn up FMLA thanks to the snaketwins.

I have a theory that for one week every year, we should all switch jobs. The expectation is that after walking a mile in someone else's shoes, we'd all feel better about our daily drudgery. Unless, of course, you got to be Bill Gates for a week. ;)
